The Celery experiment

This term we are learning about water.  We have been doing lots of science experiments to learn more about how water works.  Last week we found out that plants suck up water all the way into their leaves.  We found this out by putting some celery into some red food dye and watching what happened.  We were very suprised to find that the next day the leaves had turned red!
