Circus Skills

Today we had our second circus skills lesson.  We all got to have a go at using hula hoops, ribbons and diablo. 

Maths groups

This week we have been busy measuring length in maths.  We discovered that this zig zag line was longer than the straight line by measuring them both with unifix cubes.

Circus Maximus

Last week the circus came to Kerrimuir. We had great fun watching the clowns get up to mischief and some of us got to join in the performance.  What a great day!

The Celery experiment

This term we are learning about water.  We have been doing lots of science experiments to learn more about how water works.  Last week we found out that plants suck up water all the way into their leaves.  We found this out by putting some celery into some red food dye and watching what happened.  We were very suprised to find that the next day the leaves had turned red!

Welcome to our blog

Well it has been a busy first 3 weeks of school.  We have been busy getting to know each other and working as a team.  We are excited to be back at school, and look forward to sharing our achievements with you throughout the year!
